Knowledge Transfer Awards Ceremony to Lorenzo Seguí's FDP

On December 4, the ceremony of the Knowledge Transfer Awards for the best Final Degree and Master Project took place with the assistance of Mrs. Maria del Mar Socias, Manager of the Employment Service of the Balearic Islands (SOIB); Mrs. Nuria Hinojosa, Head of the Institute for Business Innovation of the Balearic Islands (IDI); Dr Luis Vegas, Director of the University-Enterprise of the Balearic Islands Foundation (FUEIB); Dr. Margalida Payeras, Vice Rector of Students, Graduates and Employability; Dr. Jordi Llabrés, Vice Rector of Innovation and Transfer of UIB; and Dr. Llorenç Huguet, Rector of the UIB.

Lorenzo Seguí Capllonch won the award for his FDP entitled «Emergency App 112», which was supervised by Carlos Juiz and Beatriz Gómez, so he will enjoy a free ticket for a period of one year at the UIB Campus Esport and access to specific training in transferable skills organized by the UIB in the context of the various training programs.

University-Enterprise of the Balearic Islands Foundation and the Vice Rectorship of Students, Graduates and Employability, with the support of the Cathedra of Enterprise of the Government of the Balearic Islands, have called for the first time these Knowledge Transfer Awards, in order to encourage final degree and master projects in order to approach the University to society.
