Governance of IT in Agadir by the hand of Carlos Juiz

On Tuesday, November 22, Carlos Juiz gave the Seminar on IT Governance in the Conference hall of National School of Trade and Management of Agadir.

Students of Master of Marketing and Tourism Management, Master of Governance and Communication, Master of Management Control and Information Systems and Master of Financial Management and Risk Management as well as those of other institutions of the University Ibn Zohr, has attended the event, organized by the École Nationale de Commerce et de Gestion (ENCG) and moderated by Professors Aziz Sair and Rachid Oumlil.

Information Technology (IT) Governance consists in a comprehensive framework of directive structures, decision-making strategic processes and mechanisms of participation of the organization in the proper use of IT. The government of IT has been developed greatly since the advent of ISO/IEC 38500 standard, managed in Spain by AENOR, so nowadays IT governance is an essential part of the governance of the company as a whole and brings the organizational structure and directive needed to ensure that IT supports and facilitates the development of strategic objectives. Institutions that have effective IT governance structures can increase profits by 20% than those who do not, because the allocation of resources efficient and effective promoted.
