This election was ratified at the meeting of the ISO committee that deals with governance and IT management standards, in Lisbon, from June 4th to 8th.

In most cases, experts who develop ISO standards work in the field, such as Carlos Juiz. They may have expert knowledge but they are not isolated theory teachers. They understand and anticipate the challenges of their sector, using standardization as a tool to create a level playing field that benefits everyone.
