At the meeting of the General Board of the Association of IT Technicians (ATI) held last week, it was agreed to appoint Carlos Juiz García as ATI representative at IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing), Luis Fernández Sanz at CEPIS (Council of European Professional Informatics Societies), and in the CLEI (Latin American Centre for Computer Studies) Dídac López Viñas.
The Association of IT Technicians - ATI, is a non-profit association founded in 1967, open to all those who, at any professional level and productive sector, work as professionals in the field of Information Technology and Communication (ICT). Its objective is the defense, promotion and development of the activity of those who exercise as technicians and professionals in the field of information technologies, facilitating to their partners the exchange of experiences, training and information on these technologies, while contributes to the promotion and development of the same, studying their impact on society and citizens, and enhancing relations with their social and economic environment, collaborating with other IT professionals, implemented both in our country (Spain) and abroad.
ATI is the main, most numerous and most veteran association of information technology professionals in Spain, constituting itself as an open community, connected with the main international entities such as CEPIS (Council for European Professional Informatic Societies), IFIP (International Federation for Information Processing), CLEI (Latin American Centre for Computer Studies), ECWT (European Centre for Women and Technology) among others.
