Belén Bermejo finalist of the TalenTIC Balears awards

The TalenTIC Balears awards ceremony took place on Friday, December 2, at 13.30, in Son Lledó, on the campus of the University of the Balearic Islands. There have been five finalist students, among them is Belén Bermejo, who have obtained the recognition, being the two best Final Degree and/or Master Works the winners with an economic endowment of 1,000 and 500 euros respectively, plus a diploma Accreditation and the disclosure of the work in a specialized press report.

The call for these awards will be annual and aims to encourage and recognize talent in the application of ICT innovation in all areas of knowledge. The selection criteria have been based on ICT innovation based on its originality, social interest, environmental improvement or applicability in the Balearic context as in any other, national or international context. The jury was composed by the Vice-rector of Innovation and Transfer, the director of the University-Enterprise Foundation of the Balearic Islands and a representative of Computer El Corte Inglés.

All participants are students who have submitted the Final Degree or Master Work and have obtained the highest academic qualification in any of the UIB studies during 2016, and in their work an ICT innovation is designed, applied or analysed relevant.
